Or maybe lowering the drop rates will make the people who farm complain about grind more than they already do. They don't seem to understand that they're choosing to do it.

Lowering droprates does NOTHING against farming except maybe get some people to quit the game. A lot of people actually farm because they want to unlock runes for PvP, i.e. 'preparing to have fun'. They complain about it because they'd much rather be playing PvP with a fully unlocked account than having to perform the boring, repetitive grinding that they, and apparently ArenaNet, hate. Changes are coming, stay tuned.

They tried lowering the drops rates, and they raised it. For a reason. Check the update history before deciding to update an update that was updated. Or some such. The point is...drop rate is fine. If you can't kill a flesh golem, with henchies...7 of them...you got problems. Flesh golems have got to be the easiest monsters to kill for me. I can solo them with my E/N and kill them within seconds.
Also, I'd like to point out, that a Monk, Tank, and caster is all you need to clear areas filled with flesh golems, mahgo hydras, igneous ettins, etc. If anything, the monsters are too easy...way too easy. 3 lvl 20s can slaughter a bunch of lvl 24s and 28s...kinda sad.

- personally i think you guys got whole "farming" concept backward
if you guys don't want some strong players to farm like crazy, LOWER THE DROP RATE !! one thing i don't understand is that all you guys do is make monsters stronger (like flesh golems and such)! why don't you guys just lower the drop rate so weak people can actually go around with henches??
- we seriously need some kind of command for henches. when we realized that "uh oh we gotta run", we can't do that with henches because they will try to kill monsters untill everybody die !! once they get hit, they'll just run up to pack of monsters and die in middle of nowhere. we need something like /follow /stay /run something like those
i just played iron mine mission about 5 times and i noticed that jades are absurdly overpowered now.
they kill henches with 2 to 4 hits and there are bunch of mursaats and jades added in narrow passageways
lower the drop rate guys.. lowering the rate is the way to prevent excessive farming.. making monsters strong is just not fair for us not uber people..
thx

- No... it's fine as it is... fighting bosses are fun and elite skills should not be easy to get.
- Not a chance... lowering the drop rate would upset EVERYONE! And how would that stop farming?
- Yes they do need commands, we can only hope a.net add some.
- Done that mission? Is your armor fully infused? Well then they shouldn't be a an issue... get a party of 100% infused people and see the results. Using NPCs only makes it harder
